Pollution from conventional transportation methods is a worrying factor. Electric vehicles are viable option to reduce environmental pollution and replace the of using internal combustion (IC) engine based system. renewable source driven electric (EV) opens up non-dependency on energy sources. The (like photovoltaic system) insists switch mode converter augment its voltage range. This paper presents hybrid boost DC-DC increase range (PV) wheels vehicle coupled switched reluctance motor (SRM). Closed-loop speed controlled SRM drives EV. Asymmetrical feeds excitation current coils 6/4 pole current-controlled SRM. proposed EV system analyzed for fixed variable torque with condition MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
